Catalyst Performance Lab is here to support your team!

I help all athletes of every level learn the basics of performance nutrition so they understand how to fuel their bodies for their sport. Each athlete’s nutrition is individual to that athlete. Understanding their own body helps them make choices in terms of what to eat, when to eat it and when to use or not use supplements. Nutrition for athletes varies based on off season vs peak season needs, training needs, rest day needs, competition day needs and every other day needs.

CPL believes in a food-first approach to nutrition, but understands that supplmentation has a place when appropriate.

Why you should choose CPL to work with your team…

  • Even though your coaches and athletic trainers have a robust training program, you aren’t seeing performance results from your athletes
  • Your athletes are constantly fatigued and/or sore
  • Your athletes energy levels seem to burnout during training or in the middle of game/meet
  • You and your athletes are experiencing information overload from all the social media nutrition information and aren’t sure what is applicable to your team and individual athletes
  • You don’t have the budget for a full-time sports dietitian, but you can afford a consulting sports RD that work with you, your team and your athletes to fuel their performance for sport and meet their general nutrition needs based on their food preferences, their living situations and their access to food (on/off campus, grocery store, etc)

Catalyst Performance Lab can provide your team with:

  • Meal planning for Team Travel
  • Athlete plate education for low, moderate and heavy training days.
  • Structured and individualized guidance through 1:1 nutrition counseling with an athlete to develop plans for what to eat before, during and after training and competition
  • Nutrition education for selecting foods and creating meals and snacks based on what the athlete has access to
  • Nutrition education so that athletes understand the importance of fueling for optimal sports performance as well as general long-term health and wellness
