Fitness and Survivorship
Cancer treatment is a journey few can imagine until they’ve faced it, and post-treatment life often comes with its own challenges. Survivors commonly experience lingering side effects like fatigue, weakness, weight changes, and even emotional hurdles such as anxiety and depression. Physical activity can be a powerful tool in tackling these challenges, helping to strengthen the body and mind. Research has shown that regular exercise improves overall survival rates after a cancer diagnosis, and the American Cancer Society recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate activity each week. Through Cancer2FinishLine, you’ll work to prevent issues like muscle weakness, joint stiffness, and mental fog while reducing stress and boosting your energy levels.
You’ve already conquered the “medical triathlon” of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Now, it’s time to experience the transformative power of movement and redefine what survivorship can look like.

Cancer2FinishLine:
Redefine Your Survivorship
Through the Cancer2FinishLine Program, I guide survivors as they step into their own strength, moving beyond the identity of “cancer patient” and discovering the confidence and joy of living as an athlete. Our program is designed to empower you, not only in managing your health but in redefining how you see yourself—strong, resilient, and capable.

Meet Coach Cassandra
In 2010, at just 38, I was diagnosed with four aggressive breast tumors, a challenge I never expected to face. The journey through treatment was grueling, but I was determined to reclaim my life. As I finished treatment and rang the bell, I found a renewed sense of purpose in endurance sports, specifically triathlon. Finishing my first race became my victory over cancer—a powerful reminder of my resilience and strength.
This journey didn’t just change me; it inspired me to help others who’ve faced similar battles. I work with cancer survivors to rebuild their strength, confidence, and joy in life by setting new goals, just as I did. I know firsthand how powerful it is to push beyond diagnosis and thrive in survivorship.
I share my story to remind survivors that recovery is about so much more than just surviving—it’s about thriving! Together, we can embrace each milestone, celebrate every victory, and laugh through the challenges— all while building a community that understands and supports each other.
Through Cancer2FinishLine Program, I’m excited to help even more survivors redefine survivorship and understand that they can challenge themselves to cross their own personal finish lines!
